Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at bailbondshouston.net (the “Website”), operated by Bail Bonds Houston (“Bail Bonds Houston,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a licensed bail bond service serving Houston and Harris County and the greater Houston, Texas area. Se habla español. Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Website, submitting a contact or lead form, or otherwise communicating with us through the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Website.
We may update or modify these Terms at any time as described in the “Changes to These Terms” section below. Your continued use of the Website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you are using the Website on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
The Website provides general informational content about bail bonds and the bail process in Texas, and functions as a lead-intake and contact tool that allows you to request information about, or assistance with, bail bond services for yourself or another person. Through the Website you may submit details about an arrest or detention so that we can contact you to discuss potential bail bond services.
- The Website is an informational and lead-intake resource only. It does not, by itself, arrange, post, guarantee, or complete a bail bond.
- Submitting a form or contacting us does not create a bail bond, guarantee that a bond will be written, guarantee any release from custody, or guarantee any particular result, timeline, or outcome.
- Any actual bail bond service is subject to a separate, written and signed agreement, applicable law, court approval, our underwriting and acceptance criteria, and the discretion of the relevant jail, court, and licensing authorities.
- We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to decline any request, to refuse service, or to discontinue service, subject to applicable law.
Availability, eligibility for a bond, bond amounts, release times, and all related matters are determined by courts, jails, and government agencies and are outside our control. We make no promise or guarantee regarding any of them.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the State of Texas to use the Website or submit information through it. By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you are submitting information on behalf of another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that your submission and any resulting communications comply with applicable law. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
4. Not Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship; Emergencies
The information provided on the Website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. We are a bail bond service, not a law firm, and we do not provide legal representation, legal opinions, or legal advice of any kind.
- No attorney-client relationship is created by your use of the Website, by submitting a form, or by communicating with us.
- You should not rely on the Website as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney. For legal advice about a specific situation, consult a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.
- Laws, procedures, fees, and requirements change and vary by county and court; information on the Website may not be current, complete, or applicable to your situation.
- If you are experiencing a medical, safety, or other emergency, call 911 immediately. The Website is not monitored for emergencies and must not be used to report one.
5. Accuracy of Information You Provide
When you use the Website, you may be asked to provide information including your first and last name, email address, phone number, your relationship to the inmate, and details about the inmate, such as the inmate’s name, booking or identification number, date of birth, city of arrest, and a message describing your request. You agree that all information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete, and that you will promptly update it if it changes.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. Inaccurate or incomplete information may delay, prevent, or affect our ability to respond to or assist with your request.
- You represent that you have any necessary authority or consent to submit information about any third party (including any inmate) and that doing so does not violate that person’s rights or any applicable law.
- You must not submit information that is false, misleading, fraudulent, or that you are not authorized to share.
6. Communications and Consent (Email, Phone, and SMS)
By submitting a form or providing your contact information through the Website, you expressly consent to be contacted by Bail Bonds Houston at the email address and phone number(s) you provide, in connection with your request and our services.
- Email. Form notifications and confirmations, as well as follow-up messages, may be sent from or associated with help@bailbondshouston.net. You may need to reply to a confirmation message to verify your request or contact details.
- Phone and text (SMS). You consent to receive calls and text messages from us at the phone number(s) you provide, including calls or texts made using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, for the purpose of responding to and following up on your request. Consent to receive such calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and you may still contact us directly by phone.
- Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We are not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless or internet service provider.
- Opting out. You may withdraw your consent to receive further communications at any time by replying “STOP” to a text message, by clicking any unsubscribe link where provided, or by contacting us at help@bailbondshouston.net. Even after opting out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages necessary to respond to a pending request or fulfill a legal obligation.
By providing a phone number, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of that number, or that you are authorized to provide it and to consent to contact on behalf of the subscriber.
7. Bail Bond Financial Disclaimers (General)
The following general information about bail bond costs and obligations is provided for your awareness only. It is not a quote, a contract, or a complete statement of the terms that would apply to any actual bail bond. All specific terms are governed by applicable Texas law and by a separate written agreement you would sign before any bond is issued.
- Premiums and fees. Bail bond premiums and related fees are set in accordance with applicable law and industry practice. The premium is the cost of the bond service and is generally fully earned and non-refundable once the bond is posted, regardless of the outcome of the case or how quickly the case concludes.
- Collateral. Depending on the circumstances, collateral may be required to secure a bond. Any collateral, and the conditions for its return, would be described in the separate signed agreement.
- Indemnitor / co-signer responsibility. A person who signs as an indemnitor or co-signer generally accepts financial and other responsibilities, which may include ensuring the defendant appears at all required court dates and being liable for amounts owed, forfeitures, and related costs if the defendant fails to comply.
- Separate written agreement controls. The general statements above are illustrative only. The actual amounts, terms, obligations, and conditions of any bail bond are governed exclusively by the separate written agreement signed by the relevant parties and by applicable law. In the event of any conflict between the Website and a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
Nothing on the Website constitutes a binding offer to write a bond on any particular terms. All figures, examples, and descriptions are general in nature and subject to change.
8. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will not:
- Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information, or impersonate any person or entity;
- Submit information about a third party without the authority or consent to do so;
- Use the Website in any manner that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation;
- Use the Website to harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any related systems or networks, or to interfere with or disrupt their operation or security;
- Introduce any virus, malware, or other harmful code, or engage in any denial-of-service or similar attack;
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access, harvest, or collect data from the Website without our prior written permission, or attempt to circumvent our security or anti-bot measures (including Google reCAPTCHA);
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or exploit any part of the Website except as expressly permitted by these Terms;
- Use the Website to transmit unsolicited advertising or spam, or for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including denying access, removing content, and cooperating with law enforcement, against anyone who violates this section or these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The Website and all of its content, features, and functionality, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, layout, design, and the compilation and arrangement of that content, are owned by Bail Bonds Houston or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. “Bail Bonds Houston” and any associated names, logos, and marks are the trademarks or trade names of their respective owners.

- Google Analytics. The Website uses Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how visitors use the Website. This service may collect and process usage data as described in our Privacy Policy and in Google’s applicable terms and policies.
- Maps and other embeds. The Website may include maps or other embedded content provided by third parties, which are governed by those providers’ own terms and policies.

11. Disclaimers of Warranties
THE WEBSITE AND ALL CONTENT, INFORMATION, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, that defects will be corrected, or that any information on the Website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or applicable to your situation. Without limiting the foregoing, we make no warranty or representation that any bond will be written, that any release will occur, or as to any timeline or outcome. You use the Website and rely on any information at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BAIL BONDS HOUSTON OR ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE WEBSITE, ANY CONTENT ON IT, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00). This limitation applies to the Website and your use of it and does not alter the terms of any separate signed bail bond agreement, which is governed by its own terms and by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bail Bonds Houston and its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your access to or use of the Website; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party, including any inmate or other individual whose information you submit; or (d) any information you submit through the Website. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of that claim.
14. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration provision below, you agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute not subject to arbitration shall lie in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully, as it affects your legal rights. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except as otherwise provided in this section, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Website or these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court.
- Informal resolution first. Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us at help@bailbondshouston.net and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
- Binding arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by a reputable, neutral arbitration provider under its applicable rules, conducted in Harris County, Texas, or another location mutually agreed upon, and consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act.
- Class-action waiver. You and Bail Bonds Houston agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
- Exceptions. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small-claims court for a qualifying claim, or from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or address unauthorized access or misuse of the Website.
- Reasonableness and severability of this section. This dispute-resolution provision is intended to be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law and to be reasonable in scope. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) shall be severed and may proceed in court, while the remainder of this section shall remain in effect. Nothing in this section is intended to waive any right that cannot be waived under applicable law, and this section shall not apply to the extent prohibited by law.
This section governs disputes relating to the Website and these Terms. Any dispute arising under a separate signed bail bond agreement is governed by the dispute-resolution terms of that agreement.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. All changes are effective when we post them, and your continued use of the Website after that time constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If any change is not acceptable to you, your sole remedy is to stop using the Website.
